I found her lying on the floor, she was crying for my surprise.
I heard no sobs, no screams, no pleading, no signs of pain from her precious lips.
Her eyes were closed the moment i found her.
Tears are flowing down her rosy cheecks.
I moved closer… and closer…
but when my fingers are just an inch away from her long brown hair,
I hesitated to touch her.
She was beautiful, she was precious, too precious for me to hold.
Her almond eyes were still closed,
but now tears are rushing madly down her innocent face.
There was no agony, no pain to see;
no anguish, no fury nor anger in her state of silence.
A river of tears is unfolding from the darkness.
Her eyes were just closed, in silence tears are silently flowing.
Her face is now at peace.
And in the midst of the deafening solitude,
she opened her eyes…
and to my surprise…
so did I.
